The area around Resort Walensee is very famous for all kind of summer activities. There are lots of great outdoor activities waiting for you, such as playing golf in the beautiful courses of the area, hiking, mountainbiking, fishing for the best catch or hiking to the beautiful Schwarzsee or the Churfirsten mountains. Below listed are just a few of them.
Hiking
The resort is in the center of the Sardona World Heritag which offers countless beautiful hiking tours with breathtaking views.
Mountainbiking
The area around the resort is very famous for mountainbiking. You can find trails for every level. The gondola outside the resort takes you right up to the starting place. You can rent Bikes and equipment at the Intersport store in the resort.
Stand-Up-Paddling & Kayaking
Stand-Up-Paddling (SUP) or Kayaking is always so much fun! These are just two of the main things our guests always ask for. Paddling on the beautiful lake and refreshing in the clean water is a fantastic combo.
Kitesurfing & Windsurfing
Among a variety of watersports, Kitesurfing is what newbies and advanced surfers are looking for. And we provide good spots!
Inlineskating
There is a nice Inline/Cycling road right next to the lake that even crosses the resort. you can follow the road either up or down the lake and enjoy the marvellous view from the crystal clear water and the astonishing mountains.
Fishing
On Walensee you can do fishing from the shore or the boat. There are different fish living in the lake such as trouts, perches, pikes etc. With a bit of luck you might catch a huge saibling or sea trout. For fishing regulations and permits please check with the local authorities.
